This native New Yorker, born in Brooklyn and grew up in North Babylon, NY is an alumnae of Oberlin College, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in the Dramatic Arts from New York City's Pace University and has studied at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City.

She is a voting member of The Recording Academy (The Grammys) and The Gospel Music Association (The Dove Awards), a member of The Actor's Equity Association (AEA), The Screen Actor's Guild, (SAG-AFTRA), The Associated Musicians of Greater New York (AFM - Local 802) and The National Association For Multi-Ethnicity In Communications (NAMIC).  She's also  a Psalmist, a Career and Life Coach, Producing Artistic Director, General Manager & Founder of Angelic Star Entertainment (ASE).  

She's a vocalist, songwriter, recording artist and producer with 4 solo albums to her credit.  She's traveled extensively, backing up artists like Lane McCray and the late Melanie Thornton of the dance duo LA BOUCHE, Kim Sanders and CULTURE BEAT, Colin Rich, Phylliss McCoy Joubert, the late Bob Singleton, the late Charlie Creath, Melody Gardot and Minnie Dee. 

In the studio, Noreen arranged vocals and co-wrote the lead single, 'UP TO ZION,' from Ronnie Milsap's Dove Award Nominated album, "THEN SINGS MY SOUL," with Gregory James Tornquist produced by Grammy Nominee, Rob Galbraith.  Her single release, 'SPEAK TO ME LORD' is in rotation on gospel radio and available with the rest of her releases on iTunes/Amazon & elsewhere.

Seen in Fox television's GOTHAM,  Noreen was one of the lead actors in the short film "Finder's Keepers" in the role of "Mom" directed by Tom Petrosky, is currently in production as one of the lead actors in Fill The Void Productions tv pilot project "Temporary Home" in the role of Mariah Wright directed by Lynda Furlow.  Noreen has completed work in Mark Webber's upcoming feature film "Figments of Freedom" released in 2023, on director's Damon Diddit's "Reel Edibles/My Husband Son" produced by Noble Filmworks as Trey's Mom and Sonya Gidding's project "Extreme Obsession II" as Shirley.

 Her theater credits include; the National Touring Company of RENT,  the Goodspeed & Arena Stage productions of ABYSSINNIA, A NEW YORK  LAMENTATION, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, FOR COLORED GIRLS..., PIPPIN, the blues musical, A NEW PAIN & the Off Broadway, National and European Tours of MAMA I WANT TO SING. 

Through ASE, Noreen is Lead Producer of Mississippi The Musical, written by Gregory James Tornquist, presented at The New York Musical Theater Festival in the Summer of 2019.

A resident of Harlem since 1990, Noreen thanks her family for all of their love and support throughout her lifetime pursuit of excellence in the arts because, her most fervent prayer is that the artistic experiences she has been able to create will uplift, inspire and encourage others....particularly to those who have ignored or stifled their own dreams so that they can find their way back to themselves.
